Before adding liquidity
- Choose a pool and read both asset names, network, pool fee and strategy.
- In a live release, verify canonical token addresses, the pool ID and the position manager against published deployments.
- Hold both required assets plus enough ETH for network fees. Buying the assets is a separate trade with its own costs.
- Understand that providing liquidity changes your exposure as trading changes the pool inventory.
Add liquidity in the demo
- Open Explore pools and select a market.
- Choose Add liquidity and enter the amount of the non-HOODP asset.
- The paired HOODP amount is calculated using fixed scenario prices. Max is limited by whichever of your two balances runs out first.
- Review the token amounts and total example value.
- Confirm the demo action. Available balances fall and your position increases; the activity ledger records the change.
A $1,000 deposit example
At the demo prices of $1 per USDG and $0.10 per HOODP, a $1,000 combined deposit uses 500 USDG and 5,000 HOODP. It does not mean depositing $1,000 of each token.
In real concentrated pools, the required asset ratio can differ substantially from 50/50. A live quote must be derived from the actual price, tick range, available amounts and onchain liquidity math.
| Asset | Amount | Example value |
|---|---|---|
| USDG | 500 | $500 |
| HOODP | 5,000 | $500 |
| Combined position | Both assets | $1,000 |
Withdraw principal
- Open the pool page and switch to Withdraw.
- Choose 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, or adjust the percentage slider.
- Review both returned assets and the remaining example position.
- Confirm to return that fraction of principal to your demo account.
- Already-earned fees remain separately claimable, even after a 100% principal withdrawal in this demo.
What live transaction review must show
A production deposit needs a quote with a deadline, permitted slippage, minimum accepted amounts, approval spender and network gas estimate. Token approvals should be scoped and understandable. Rejected signatures, insufficient gas and failed or stale transactions must leave balances unchanged until confirmed onchain.
Actual fee settlement during LP changes varies by the position manager. A live adapter must reconcile fees collected as part of adding or removing liquidity so they cannot be paid twice. The demo’s separate fee balance is a UX/accounting model, not a claim about every Uniswap call.
Withdrawal terms are not finalized
The demo allows immediate proportional withdrawals without a penalty. Live manager permissions, locks, pauses, emergency exits and costs are unresolved. Any restrictions must appear in the pool terms before users commit assets.
