Using the interactive demo

Understand every sample input, generate a fee epoch, and reset the example account.

An example account, not a wallet

The dapp loads an example account with available assets, two LP positions, a stake and small opening reward balances. The Demo account button shows the available balances and offers a reset. Nothing is connected to MetaMask or another wallet.

Changes are saved only in this browser’s local storage. They are not blockchain records and do not synchronize between devices. Clearing browser storage or resetting the demo removes the local example history.

Fixed scenario inputs

AssetFixed example price
HOODP$0.10
USDG$1
NVDA$150
AAPL$200
TSLA$250
MSFT$400
SPY$550

What “simulate a fee epoch” does

  • Treats the six displayed sample volumes as one hypothetical fee period.
  • Calculates a uniform 0.30% gross pool fee, totaling $984 across the sample markets.
  • Allocates a personal LP share using the current example liquidity ratio; splits that value equally into the two assets for illustration.
  • Allocates the remaining protocol share 50% to holders and 50% to stakers, with zero costs.
  • Credits only your proportion of each reward pot, using fixed other-participant balances.
  • Records an activity entry and advances the demo epoch count. No real time needs to pass.

What it does not model

The simulation does not move prices, alter LP inventory from swaps, quote slippage, charge gas, send approvals, request signatures or execute a contract. It does not simulate chain finality, issuer restrictions, real reward snapshots, price-range changes or impermanent loss.

Repeatedly clicking a sample epoch creates more hypothetical rewards by design. It is a teaching control, not a strategy, faucet, return forecast or claim on actual assets.

A useful walkthrough

  • Claim the opening LP fees on USDG / HOODP and confirm that your principal remains.
  • Add 100 example USDG plus 1,000 example HOODP and inspect the updated ownership share.
  • Stake 1,000 example HOODP and compare your wallet-holder and staking balances.
  • Simulate a fee epoch, then inspect LP fees and both reward pots.
  • Withdraw 100% of a personal LP position; claim any remaining fees separately.
  • Unstake your HOODP and confirm that already-accrued staking rewards are preserved.

Reset and storage issues

Open Demo account and choose Reset example account. The confirmation dialog makes clear that deposits, rewards and history are replaced by the original sample state. It never affects real assets.

If browser storage is blocked, interactions still work for the current session, but may not persist after a reload. If a saved state is invalid, the app falls back to the example account and reports a local-storage notice.
